The structure in retail stores is chaotic, particularly with the yearly 'organizational' changes they make. The commission structure breeds negative behaviors and the inability to hire real talent and get rid of under-performers makes it a challenging place to work. Too strict- point systems etc.
The issue isn't the employees the issue was management
my coworkers are weird because they say innapropriate stuff in front of customers

No one gets taught the company info properly. You are literally thrown into the mess with no training, so its not the employees fault. The managers take no responsibility.
