What should I wear for an interview at Toyota Motor Sales?
It's corporate so suit and tie is best. I believe the organization applies a "dress for your day" philosophy so that means business casual for days where you don't have meetings with Sr. Management, Suppliers, or Vendors as well as casual Fridays.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Toyota Motor Sales?
I don't recall a specific question but do recall them using the STAR format for interviewing which is a common practice which assumes an individual's past performance is the best indicator of future performance so be able to explain a Situation/Task/Action/Results to the open ended questions that are asked.
How would you compare interviewing at Toyota Motor Sales to other places you've interviewed?
My hiring process involved a 1 hour phone screen after which they brought me in for a day of interviews. I had 3 separate interviews that were conducted in person face to face. Each session involved a 2 person panel asking various questions. I was also required to complete a writing exercise after the interviews were completed. After I was hired, I learned that all 6 people who were involved in the interview process had to give you the thumbs up in order to be extended a job offer.
