Ubisoft Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

they do their job well

Ever shifting but approachable most of the time

They meet frequently and work through operational issues. They rely on an extended leadership team when appropriate to widen the inputs and expertise. They support the vision of the managing director effectively.

Not much, no real vision just lots of ideas that is all, you can do that when you never worrie about performance or getting let go even when you add no value

Not much, they act like a cult

I like nothing about the leadership team.

Review from Engineering Dept

the eadership team has been there for decades and is mostly composed of straight white French dudes. They seem to be more focused on internal politics than making games so they are not too obstructive.

Good at collaborating and listening

Transparency, humbleness, and trust are at the base of anything

It was great working with all

i have no response to this question

Clear directions good listeners caring

I like that the leadership team is usually really open to feedback and it is very possible to gain access to them. It is a very open and humble culture.

Treat people with respect, we are treated as employees who work WITH them and not FOR them. They listen to our inputs and we have a strong voice in the organization.

Review from HR Dept

Yves has always been the leader towards how the company is shaped. He gives a lot of motivation through difficult times!

Review from HR Dept

Analytic, but also creative-driven. Ready to adapt to market moves.

They're productive and nice. We really get the job done

Review from Design Dept

They allow a good work life balance

Review from Design Dept

its a good leader with clear tasks

Review from Design Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

pretty much everything, especially communication and listening

take the right measures against toxic people

Hiring people with proven value and experience in their area. Often 'friends of the boss' get hired which means people who actually do the work get sick of them an go to competitors, particularly since the pay at Ubi isn't great.
