What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

pretty much everything, especially communication and listening

take the right measures against toxic people

Hiring people with proven value and experience in their area. Often 'friends of the boss' get hired which means people who actually do the work get sick of them an go to competitors, particularly since the pay at Ubi isn't great.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

There is no career growth and no salary growth. There doesn't seem to be any effort on the part of the leads to really set a career plan or groth path. Constant talk and no actions make it harder to trust that they have any idea about what they are doing.

Better salary would make me stay longer

Other IT companies get better paid

Give employees stock based on performance, give bonus not just sale it when you grt hired but never get it because we are saling enough games. Crazy

when we are paid fairly

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Their speed at tasks and more communication

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Transparency in middle management will help teams be more aware of why certain decisions are being taken.

Change the top management entirely. Change HR practises. Allow people to make games they want to play rather than copies that shareholders are waiting for.

Review from Engineering Dept

High management and western caucasian people need to understand their experience is not the norm and accept that criticism isn't bad and that diversity and inclusion will improve the company.

Review from Engineering Dept

nothing at all its already perfect

Review from Design Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

be faster in your responses

Faster, fairer (in terms of compensation without having to haggle), more transparency in terms of communication and deadlines (workers too don't like to be left unanswered)

Review from Engineering Dept

looking at their criminal record like they should have done with me

Review from Design Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

We make games that are copies of our games and the competition, with lesser quality. It could be improved by giving more freedom to dev teams, adjusting work conditions to be competitive and allow ourselves to have enough ressources.

Review from Engineering Dept

There is very little sense management listens to agents working at the bottom. Policy decisions come out of nowhere and agents are held to increasingly impossible standards with no compassion shown by anyone other than their direct managers who have no power.

They can pay me more
