How's the work life balance at Kronos?

They preach 9-5 but since engineering is always on fire you're expected to work longer hours. Also depends on what your manager thinks of you.
Great. They have "my time" which is unlimited personal/vacation time.
It is excellent. We have an open time off policy called MyTime that allows employees to take the time they need to recharge.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Kronos?
I wouldn't. I love it here.
Accept change. Empower employees to try new things. Get all of the old out and bring in fresh blood that is less about the status quo and more about building a solid product.

People idolize the CEO but he's just running a family business that he inherited and is very detached from the actual employees other than when he is deciding things that he does not have expertise in.
People think he is amazing! He honestly treats every employee like a family member and goes above and beyond when an employee is going through a difficult time in their personal life. He is always preaching that family comes first and he means it!
What's the interview process like at UKG?
I had several interviews including the initial screening with the recruiter, phone interview with hiring manager, in person panel interview, phone interview with director and phone interview with senior VP. The questions were mainly around previous experience and specific examples of situations you handled. They were very interested in finding out what I knew about the company and the role so make sure to find out what the company does and any specifics you can about the role and where it sits in the company. You will get to talk about yourself and what your interest are and your management style.
How are the dental insurance options at UKG?
Awesome, 100% employer paid. They are through Aetna
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at UKG?
Biggest challenge we are facing right now is our explosive growth and the effect that has on our culture. We work very hard to maintain the awesome environment we have and everything the company does to put our people first. There tends to be some dilution of the culture as you bring in new folks with different ideas, experiences, and behaviors and that is what we are really being challenged with today.
