How would you compare interviewing at UKG to other places you've interviewed?
Top notch experience! The best experience in my 20+ years as a working professional.
Does Kronos have any remote positions?
Yes they do. It all depends on the role. We allow some recruiters to work remote full time, some work remote 3 days a week, and everyone works remote at least 1-2 days a week.
What part of Kronos's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
They have the whole market under their product, every single big client is using their workforce management product. Their product is terrible though and ridden with bugs to the point where bugs are filed faster than they can be fixed. Their tech is old and everyone has a lot of domain knowledge that makes them irreplaceable even though they are not good technically. "This is how we've always done it" mentality and very process driven. Everything is a meeting and everything is micro managed
What's the company culture like at Kronos?
Seniority trumps all. The more tenure you have the more pull you have. Retirement track job where change is not accepted and everything is done the way it was done in the past. Top down management and micro management.

The vibe at Kronos is great. The décor and office space is very innovative and everyone here is really friendly.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at UKG?
Old timers are complacent and not open to new ideas or doing the right thing vs the easy thing - lack collaboration and communication skills

Care about the people in tangible ways. Open. Honest. Trusting.

There's a mix of personality types and some make your day while others get in your way and add no/little value.
