Communication with employees and accepting responsibility
You can teach some things, but ethics and humility are hard to learn at a certain age. Leadership is so busy trying to figure out how to make sure the organization is "commited" to their "vision" that they never take the time to look in the mirror to see if they are being "leaders" or "bosses".
Need to get better at leading.
Everything. Sincerity and honesty would be good places to start.
They can't get better. They are all about themselves.

easy access to employees benefits and programs, cost, etc.
Substandard pay. No feedback or communication from managers.
I feel undervalued because I have taken on other people's work and my compensation made no change. Would feel better if managment didn't take advanate of employees who try to pitch in and help out with other responsibilites and duties.

Better communication and drivier training program.

I feel there is a lot of negativity in the work place. Everyone is always angry and it shows. People get offended quickly.

I honestly don't think the culture will change without leadership change. The toxic culture came in with the current leadership, so I don't think will change without a change in leadership.
Everything needs to change to make the culture better. This leadership team has brought in managers who have destroyed the drive and team spirit at USA Truck.
Wide swath of managers would need to be re-trained or replaced. Managment is the sole issue with the negative workplace culture.
Hire higher caliber employees with the mindset to overcome. Problem solving - find a way driven employees with a sense of urgency

More people in the maintenance/roadside department.

Interview wth team and not just managers.
Stop firing your orientationa nd training people. Onboarding is an imporant thing.
Corporate culture is toxic. There is going to have to be a attitude and heart change from the board, to the leadership team, and on down to managment before the workplace situation will improve for the employees.
Inadequate staffing to support drivers, team, and customers. Lots of lip service and talk of customer service attitude and actions from the Executive Team are completely opposite.
So much to list of what's wrong. Corporate culture, lack of teamwork, negativity induced by poor managment, "leadership" team lacking leaders.
Work load is rather heavy and constant negativity from our phone calls.
