Mr. George J. Fischer has been President of Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Inc. since January 1, 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President of Global Sales from July 2014 to December 31, 2016. Mr. Fischer is responsible for driving customer growth and increasing revenue through Verizon's direct and indirect enterprise distribution channels across the North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. He has been Senior Vice President of Verizon Communications Inc. since January 7, 2017. He serves as Senior Vice President of Verizon Nederland B.V. He served as an Executive Vice President and Group Executive of Worldwide Sales & Services at CA Technologies, Inc. from May 2007 and February 2012 respectively to January 2014. Earlier, he served as an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Operations at CA Technologies, Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Operations at CA Technologies, Inc.(alternately CA, Inc.) since June 2010. He served as a Group Executive of Worldwide Sales & Operations at CA Technologies, Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Sales Client Services and Marketing of CA, Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Sales Client Operations & Marketing at CA, Inc. (Computer Associates International Inc.). He has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in global sales, service, client operations and general management including with CA Technologies. During his career at CA, Mr. Fischer also played a key role in re-engineering CA's go-to-market and customer engagement strategies and driving new product growth, renewing existing customer contracts and expanding overseas markets. Mr. Fischer served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Americas Sales at CA, Inc. since June 2006 and also served as its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Sales at CA, Inc. since May 2007. He served as General Manager of North American sales at Computer Associates International Inc. and also its Senior Vice President of North American sales from July 2004 to June 2006. He served as Senior Vice President and Area Sales Manager for CA's Northeastern U.S. region and he served as the First Executive Vice President of sales and marketing at iCan, a CA subsidiary. Mr. Fischer served as Senior Vice President for the Northeast sales region and has held several key positions during his five years at CA, including Senior Vice President of CA Global Professional Services. He served Platinum Technology for five years and held a number of senior positions including Area Vice President of Professional Services, Vice President of Data Warehousing and Security Products, Vice President of Data Warehouse and year 2000 products and Vice President of repository sales. He served as Senior Manager at Reltech. He began his career at NCR Corporation where he held progressive positions over five years in the financial systems division. He serves as a Director of WorkXpress, LLC. He sits on a number of corporate boards and is a region trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of America, championing digital literacy and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) instruction. Mr. Fischer received his B.A. in information systems and management from Syracuse University.
