When I joined 6 years ago, things very formal with everyone around in business traditional attire. Over the years with the infusion of cultures from multiple startups and a younger workforce in general, Verizon has gone the “You Do You” approach. Of course customer facing roles still practice formal attire but engineering roles across the board have moved to a casual expressive attire. In some locations that even means getting to see some really well done ink work and hairdos. It’s transformed for the better in my opinion.
