Ms. Tami Erwin serves as Executive Vice President of Wireless Operations at Verizon Nederland B.V. Ms. Erwin is responsible for nationwide delivery of industryleading service for consumer and business customers. She has been an Executive Vice President of Wireless Operations at Verizon Communications Inc. since August 24, 2016. Ms. Erwin served as Senior Vice President and Group President of Consumer & Mass Business (CMB) Sales & Service at Verizon Communications Inc. since November 18, 2015 until August 24, 2016. She began her telecommunications career as a wireless customer service rep, an experience that formed the foundation of her passion for great service and those who deliver it. Ms. Erwin has responsibility for all sales, marketing operations and customer service strategies that touch voice, data and video customers ' both consumer and small business ' across the wireline footprint. She served as President of National Operations for CMB, where she was responsible for all marketing initiatives and for the management and development of mobile products and services. She was responsible for the support teams leading sales, field operations and technical support and directly managed global technical support centers and channel sales vendors. She served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Cellco Partnership, Inc. (also known as Verizon Wireless) and was responsible for all marketing initiatives and for the management and development of mobile products and services. She led the brand management, media buying, agency management and website integration. Ms. Erwin served as President Of West Area Operation at Cellco Partnership since September 2008. Ms. Erwin was responsible for Verizon's sales operations and customer service for the regional unit that includes more than 3,000 employees. She served as President of Washington/Baltimore/Virginia Region for Cellco Partnership (also known as Verizon Wireless Inc.) since February 2006 and was responsible for sales, marketing, customer service and retail stores in Washington DC, Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She served as President for Verizon Wireless Inc., Southwest Region based in Chandler, Arizona. She began her career in the wireless industry in 1987 as a Customer Service Representative for US WEST in Bellevue, WA. She managed all sales, marketing and distribution as Regional President and Vice President of Customer Service for the West Area, where she was responsible for Verizon Wireless customer service in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming and El Paso, Texas. She served as West Area president, Washington/Baltimore/Virginia Region president, Southwest Region president and Customer Service vice president at Verizon Wireless. She served a series of management positions representing a broad range of customer service functions, including outbound calling, technical operations, call center administration, activations and service inquiries. She also served on an international team, responsible for implementing cellular service in Hungary. She served as the Vice Chairman of Chrysalis in Phoenix, Arizona and Vice Chair of CommNexus in San Diego. She serves as a Trustee of The Paley Center for Media. She serves as a Director of CommNexus San Diego (formerly, San Diego Telecom Council). She received the Women of Excellence Award in Community Service for 2011 from the National Association of Female Executives and was honored by Ad Age as a Woman to Watch, 2013. She serves on the Paley Media Center Board of Trustees and is a board member of the Verizon Foundation. She also served on the board of Child Help, Orange County Chapter. She is winner of the Verizon President's Cabinet Award for sales achievement. She is a passionate speaker on the topics of leadership and professional development, customer service excellence, domestic violence awareness and prevention and the empowerment of women and other minorities in business. She attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, Calif., majoring in Business Administration. She graduated from the Executive Program at the Stanford School of Business.
