Visa Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Maternity leave and education allowance help me strive

Great healthcare benefits and bonus plan

Fixed Income and health benefits

Health benefits, paid leave and flexibility in working hours

mental health benefits are easily available

health and 401k good benefits

The pension plan for the employees.

Annual bonus, RSUs and Health insurance

Bonus is good , base component is competetive.

I feel like Visa's benefits are hard to navigate sometimes, but there are so many good things. We just extended our parental leave, we have 5% 401k match, and I also get money annually for my health savings account. There's a lot more but those are probably the highlights.

Review from HR Dept

Great benefits including 401k that double match up to 5% of annualy salary

Health benefits are excellent as well as WLB

performance pay is the best part

The diversity of the benefits

HMO coverage, Time-off, gym reimbursement

I feel my base salary is high given my function and geography.

The whole package that is flexible

Learning and development allowance benefit

Review from Design Dept

Profit sharing, salary , benefits

Annual bonus is very good

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

VISA doesn't give much stocks

People are not paid based on their skills or work.If someone is close to manager, they get all the advantage like promotions, salary hike and all the other benefits.People must be paid according to their experience and must be evaluated based on the actual work they are doing.

New joiners get better package and salaries are not normalized

Insurance and pay are mediocre.

compensation, bonuses, promotions to those who knows how to lick their managers.

Review from IT Dept

Base payment didnt catch up inflation. There is a cap at a level that people working years at the same role cant get increas anymore.

Salary is bare bones conpared to other tech companies in the bay area

I come from a top 5 school and yet im paid half market rate

I was out of the workforce for several years. I rejoined, and am a top performer, but getting compensated at a mid-range (at Visa which is low compared to market). I received top salary increase, and top bonus, but the only way to significantly improve my salary is to leave the company.

Less pay and stock options as compared to other silicon valley companies

Visa is a great company but individual male managers have biases toward women in leadership and actively work to shut them out of leadership groups. I would love to see a change in how women are valued in my team

Review from Product Dept

Underpaid and no discussions about career progression

Review from Finance Dept

There are so many people that don't do much of anything. Compensation that took into account responsibilities and workload would be great.

Years of experience coming in is not in line with my salary

Review from Operations Dept

compensate fairly and don't penalize those who come in at higher rates to only provide raises for those in lower level roles and pay ranges

Review from Business Development Dept

more work from home weekly

Review from Finance Dept

No clear career growth path.. Feel completely mislead and waste of my skills..
