It's fine. There are worse jobs out there. I've also been at better jobs where they appreciated me more, so it definitely isn't that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people are nice and easy to talk to.

The interviewers were nice people.

They're nice, they do a good job, and they're easy to talk to.
What do you like best about your company?
They generally seem interested in helping out other people in the community including people who are not employees or customers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
It's good most of the times, but there are times I'm assigned tasks that I need to slog through to get done.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
More incentives for people to stick around. I've had close friends at the company and lost them because people don't tend to stick around.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They do a decent job, but they have made overly risky moves that ended up costing the company money and employees their jobs, and management themselves rarely felt the pain from them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I could easily make more elsewhere. Salaries are never over the standard cost of living adjustment, and they don't try hard to keep anybody, so there is a lot of turnover. They don't offer any bonuses or equity, even if I do a stellar job, and very few developers at the company are recognized.
