Merit increases and some promotions have been frozen this year making it difficult or impossible for people to advance even if their performance is above whatever level or position they are currently at.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership made the decision to remove some benefits to prepare for an economic downturn caused from the Covid 19 Pandemic. Removing benefits is an indication that the leadership team isn't connected with employees and not invested in their future as it could reduce overall compensation by 4-15%.
