Our team is a talented bunch of hooligans who care about the products we send out the door, and are usually great at seeking and incorporating feedback.
Currently? I work from home across the desk from my spouse, who also works at home. When I'm in the office, it's the time and interaction with my team.
They seem to be willing to share information with employees that will give us more buy-in to the company vision and direction. They're as open as they can be about money and issues, considering we're a public company.
I was at the company for almost 4 hours and met a number of people on the team in 1/2-hour interview blocks with 1 or 2 people. Everyone was very congenial and forthcoming about both the good things and the challenges.
The money is good, and pre-CoVID, we had a full lunch cafe, snacks, soda and some quarterly "events" where we could have fun and get swag. Not so much since CoVID, but the management team is trying. The best part is that senior management seems to be invested in investing in the employees.
