Volvo Cars is a great place to work. I've been at other OEMs but Volvo is special - it is a good mix of being challenged, being supported and having a great set of values to execute against. The people and products make it a great place to be!

Transparency of the pay-scale for my level and where I stand.

Being a field employee takes a lot out of your life and the compensation at times doesn't seem to be worth it. Cost of living and inflation have increased but salaries havent been matched

I know what people make in this industry, and in others as well through a large friend group. I also know that the same effort and that I deliver at VCUSA and same skill set would allow me to each 20-30% more in the local area. I am devoted to the brand, but it is very unfortunate that we pay less.

I am paid far less than other managers in my department. The gender pay gap is not taken seriously. It is disheartening to hire someone to work for you who starts at the same pay

I believe I am underpaid for the position I have and the benefits I bring the company. Increase my base salary.

Communication and idea sharing. We collaborate often on ways to improve processes and how to complete never before done tasks. When working with R&D vehicles, many procedures do not exist yet and we work together to problem solve and get required tasks completed.

Get better people. The people I work with are self centered and only care about themselves. No focus on being a team or talking through things or sharing ideas, etc.

Constantly having new faces from Sweden coming in and learning what we do and how we do it. They all come in to do their specific parts on the vehicles and we are able to learn from and teach them along the way.

We need to address biases and stop allowing people to be self centered. There is no focus on interacting beyond one's immediate team
