Volvo Cars has a great work environment and work-life balance. The perks are also good and I feel that everyone is respected at Volvo Cars.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Overall Volvo Cars is a great company but things take quite some time to be implemented or improved. Decision making is kind of slow and at times I do notice lack of ownership of the work and decisions that people make.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is patient and helpful
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very friendly and easygoing
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Transparency of the pay-scale for my level and where I stand.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is always there to unconditionally support me and others when needed.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having the autonomy to plan my work/projects myself and my manager trusting me to get work done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are friendly and willing to listen and work progressively and on average most employees are patient.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very social and they are always nice to talk to. We maintain a healthy relation among ourselves and do progressive things as a team.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am just really glad to be able to work in the industry I always wanted to work in. There is always something new to learn :)
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership teams needs to understand the market better and focus on listening to our customers instead of company goals alone. For example: We as a company need to focus on quality issues instead of volumes because once a brand image is ruined, it can take decades to repair.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For the amount of responsibilities I undertake, I am not compensated fairly. I was informed by by superiors and PX that I do not have enough time with the company to qualify for a higher pay even though I can tackle and accomplish tasks as well as an employee who has been with the company for years.
