Forward looking. Diverse. Integrated. Distributed.
Our leadership has a clear strategy for us, but sometimes there is a disconnect between the decisions made on high and the working gears of the organization below. They hope to maintain course but we will see if they can be agile enough to not stumble in the course of major changes to come.
My manager is a great leader
My mid/senior leadership team is fantastic. Very inspirational. The cultural issues are with the executives, mostly driven by CTO (imagine the worst of Amazon culture, NY Times Article)
They are very clear about their approach
Review from IT Dept
Communication and access to information.
Transparency. Honesty and diversity are not their strengths. The Discovery management team lacks objectivity. They are in over their heads.

I don’t known what yo
understanding employee needs and situations before pursuing discipline.

Support junior level staff
Bonus. Higher than most companies. But depending on your legacy company that you came from.
High pay, unlimited time off if approved by manager
The emotional salary, events and activities
The best part about compensation is the 401K.
that is my business not yours with all respect
I provide great cost-savings to this company, but my pay falls below the average for my profession. Lack of opportunity for advancement is pervasive in the face of constant M&A and the ensuing cuts. To be fair, the whole industry is swimming upstream and has been for years, and it feels that way.
Constant throwing under the bus. All blames from CTO go to Engineering Managers. Rest of the organization is scot-free
Many legacy personel from Discovery received title bumps immediately before the merger. The company needs to live the mantra that we are one company and address this discrepency swiftly.

Pay could increase for the amount of work I have now. Compensation does not match monthly expenses absorbed due to working remotely exhausting my hone’s resource
I feel undervalued, because I consider myself to be a top-notch worker and haven't even been acknowledged for my efforts. I'd feel better about my compensation if I could take sick-leave whenever I fall extremely ill.

Diverse. Regional. Cooperative. Forward looking. Strong. Independent.
We have a great rapport and communicate well with each other. We have a natural tendency to help each other out in a way that keeps the department running well at all times.
Highly creative, open to learning or sharing information that is needed for other teams
A divertity and focused on work
The personalities and knowledge of my team members.
Coworkers are fine people and genuinely try to do their best

Share and share alike. Open. Mixed lot. Contributing.
A lot of positive moves in the last year, but a lot of course-changing to come. It's exciting to see movement, but further industry-wide instability keeps us all on edge.
WB-DISCOVERY hires the friendliest and most genuine people.
Speechless Guys all working here like a family team
The people are honest and politics is a minimum
Communication and lack of leadership/management
Replace upper management as soon as possible
Need consistency in company standards
It would be nice to be treated like a human not a metric!

People are impressed with the company. Optimism. Opportunities.
I liked the conversational tone my most recent interview had. An interview shouldn't feel like an interrogation.
Talking to and meeting teams
Multiple views and voting mechanism, no bias from manager
Meeting the hiring managers for the second interview.

Power to be. Group cheers. Synergy. Together. We are one.
I love that I do work that I enjoy at a pace that is comfortable and flexible for me. A flexible, hybrid work schedule is something that greatly increases my quality of life, and I'm grateful for that. My management team is very supportive and the support resources available are considerable.
I learn something new everyday
Collaborating with different types of people and learning something new.
Leaving me alone to actually get some work done
Tech culture. Change in Exec leadership
We were all set up to fail when ATT spun us off into an abyss of debt.
the customer calling into the call center are increasingly more rude and demanding and unhappy and we take the brunt of the negativity
Review from Customer Support Dept
It's changed alot since Charter took over. Was great when it was TWC.
