Warner Media Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Non aggressive and I only had to deal with 2-3 people

a relaxed and casual process put me at ease

It was a long time ago, i dont recall.

One of my interviewers had cats in the background

Employee referral helped for an efficient interview process

I really got to know about the role, company, and leadership outlook.

Straight forward discussion on job expectations.

Review from Operations Dept

Very thorough. Felt amazing to be awarded the offer.

Review from Operations Dept

Very thorough and comprehensive. Good overview of the larger company.

Passionate people, just very misdirected

My original boss who was amazing

It is a great way for new people to get introduced to the lot.

When I was hired everyone was excited, hopeful and nice. However, that was before the merger with Time Warner, long before anyone considered merging with AOL and of course the inevitable falling stock price.

met with a lot of different people and did a presentation

Review from Marketing Dept

They have the best means to assess one's capabilities.

I enjoyed meeting with the HR representative.

Easy to talk to the employers

The people were great and made me comfortable

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

standardize it so that each applicant has roughly the same experience

Start before the interview. Base your candidates on knowledge, experience and competence

Do my political beliefs matter? I thought this was a news company designed to be unbiased. ANYTHING BUT!!!

I interviewed for TT over 12 years ago so I can't really comment on this now.

It’s necessary to vet all employees but it’s a long process of checking each reference, school, former employment

Lesser bureaucracy and lesser committee mentality and more decision making capabilities.

Review from Operations Dept

Write better job reviews and keep an eye on your reviews. Be prepared to answer questions honestly without following the company line.

The interviewing process of WB was very lengthy (took about 3 months from phone interview to start date) and there were many times I had to reach out for a status of my application.
