Senior management is out of touch with how products are most effectively built. Some divisions set highly ambitious, unrealistic expectations while others give tremendous deadline leeway to strong, charismatic (but incompetent) leaders.

You never know what you are walking into, the corporate overlords at AT&T decide your department in inefficient or redundant and it needs to be excised. The company's stock price is tanking or the company is reimagining its employee benefits. All signs it's probably time to abandon ship.
Morale is really low. Feel like we don’t have a clear view of where the company is heading.
Management is growing very comfortable, the upper folks are paying themselves a hefty amount for doing almost nothing, the hourly workers are resentful and find ways to not do as much, because they don’t have any incentive to do so.

Departments have been gutted and replaced with outsourced companies, sometimes in other countries, and none of the replacements have been trained. As a vendor I find myself actually training the client. So much time is wasted.

Pretty much the whole enchilada
Too many meetings. Too much infrastructure work that gets in the way of working on new product features. We need to move to the cloud entirely so we are not always doing maintenance work.
