Less meetings. More accoutability. More management by being present.
Understand the business and procedure
They need to work better as a team. In addition, too many of them think they are smarter than most people at Waters. They consistently criticize the work of employees and leaders that have been there longer than them.
Empathy, being human, listening, modernizing the organization and their mindset
Listening to people outside of their ivory tower.
No long term incentive and short term incentive
They value the fresh PhD graduates. Mind you, just because you are a PhD grad does not equate you are good in lab instrument maintenance. You are only good with that field you study but not overall.
Having a viice at the table.
Company offers 1-3% annual pay increases if you're lucky (unless they are taking money from you during COVID). They'll brag about record profits and growth, but don't share it with the people who got them there. Start sharing the $$ in a fair equitable way.

Can't keep employees or attract talent - that wont change until the culture does.
The company needs to focus on fairness among the employees. Certain systems are in place where only a few can prosper and people then manipulate these systems. Management should look at the toxic scenarios they are creating by focusing on staff The "numbers" are generated by the hard work of staff
