really fast growing and interesting industry, but leadership lacks operational experience and strategic vision... not confident about ability to adapt and fight off competitors

people are generally nice and new hires are from legit tech company backgrounds
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
engineering and product teams are a mess. so much politics and infighting coming all the way from the top. execs are focused on the next quarter instead of the next 5 years.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
they really short changed a lot of folks with their super weird pre IPO equity structure (you are given "units" that aren't tied to valuation or anything... and they would refuse to tell you straight up how much it's worth which is also super shady)
