There is Equal opportunity ..
Infinite assignments, never a lull in work to be completed.
generally accessible - the entire org is pretty flat
Their transparency and passion for their roles as leaders. They also expect and accept your opinion and trust the people they hire.
The leadership team needs to learn how to execute and focus before talking big ideas while fighting with each other. We keep missing our targets and eventually you guys are all going go get fired now thag we are public
Get your act together because our board fires you
Delegating responsibilities and learning to recognize when their behavior is patronizing and otherwise unhelpful.
Review from Engineering Dept
Everything. Better communication. Better planning. Capital allocation
Review from Engineering Dept
Priortizing the goals and strategies of the company. Stop firing people as scapegoats for your own defects.
Stock options and insurance subsidization package
Amazing health insurance benefits, competitive pay for most departments.
No transparency in terms of equity grants. I would go as far as to say that i was blatantly lied to how much equity i was going to receive vs what i ended up getting - really shows you how little the leadership team values employees
they really short changed a lot of folks with their super weird pre IPO equity structure (you are given "units" that aren't tied to valuation or anything... and they would refuse to tell you straight up how much it's worth which is also super shady)
Equity keeps the incentives aligned for core contributors to an organization's success. This is otherwise a well-known fact in the software industry.

Better stability would be good

401 k has a 5 years vesting period. Average salaries. Almost no job security.
The knowledge each has within themselves
Friendly, relevent, energetic, excitable, sincere, intelligent
Cannabis industry is very dynamic and exciting
people are generally nice and new hires are from legit tech company backgrounds
The diversity and inclusion. My coworkers come from different walks of life and a variety of unique career backgrounds.
Streamline processes, interdepartmental communications need improvement. Both are things the company is actively working on.
Communication between different departments and making sure everyone is up to date
The need to be bigger and better
We work remotely at this point.
The company culture as a whole is a lot of fun to be around. They put a lot of effort into making a strong company culture during covid times and their effort does not go unnoticed.
No diversity to speak of. Blatant sexism and bullying everywhere. A pretty toxic work environment generally and everyone seems fed up / miserable all the time.
LEADERSHIP. Culture is toxic. No women in leadership at all.
We need to replace the C-suite.
Review from Engineering Dept
More diversity. Filled with mediocre white guys.
Morale is definitely low. The COO needs to go.
everyone I interacted with was positive and somebody I wouldn't mind working with day in and day out. Didn't ask unrealistic gotcha questions. Talked more with would be peers that I'd spend most of my day with rather than just management that I may rarely see.
Review from Engineering Dept
It was seamless and straight forward
Interest in truly finding my fit within the organization.
Average interviewing experience nothing special
My recruiter was fantastic. They provided me with guidance every step of the way and were in constant communication. I also spoke with many members of the team and it gave me a lot of confidence in joining them.

I get to do what I love
Working remotely and all of the additional perks are great
Providing my clients with products to help grow their businesses. I love watching their success unfold.
Delivering value to our customers in an expedient manner.
Review from Engineering Dept
We need real leaders who know what they are doing
Our product is outdated and duct taped together. Our code base is a mess. More managers than real engineers. And not to mention the 20 reorgs we have done in the past 3 years
engineering and product teams are a mess. so much politics and infighting coming all the way from the top. execs are focused on the next quarter instead of the next 5 years.
Again, there's no transparency, so I'm not sure what the outlook is. I have seen the data, and we lie to our clients everyday.
