What do you like best about the leadership team?

The only good person I've met in leadership is my HSA. None of the higher ups care about the people who work hands on with our patients.

Management and willing to hear both sides of things.

Communication and soft skills techniques.

They care only about profits. They have hired exective staff that have no prison experience at all causing a huge disruption in the system that is completely negative. They a condecending to employees and unauthetic to inmates.

Everything. Manager has visited numerous times, has not introduced themselves to employees. Has not taken the time to sit down and talk with staff.

Well, I was paid fairly however, the primary of the benefits were too high.

Compensation is good. But benefits are terrible. The vacation and sick time is very poor. Most people are professionals and they have a point system if you miss work. I have never missed, but a coworker lost her child very unexpectedly and they gave her 2 days off. Very heartless.

I work harder than what I am compensated for.

I have pulled comps in the area and showing large differences and they don’t care. Even though the handbook and policy on compensation say they are reviewed regularly they are not. Regional or HR don’t care they aren’t competitive. They only care about securing a con

Some of the Onsite Schedulers that worked remote at other prisons were nice.

Good mamagers with high problem solving abilities

For the most part, we are a big family. We try to help one another and have each other's backs.

Friendly , funny, loud, team to work with

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

numerous co-workers sit around and does absolutely NOTHING. Other work and does everything incorrect which requires correction by other staff.

Employee appreciation is non-existent. Learn the rules and regulations for the states that you are serving. Nursing care is not a one size fits all.

Fire all management and start over

Not better management but new management

Hire experienced staff and treat them fairly and with respect. Just basic human decency

They took us over from the state, so there wasnt much of an interview process.

When I was hired there was a clear understanding that I would be scheduling federal inmates from the human resource office at the prison where other contractors are located. On my first day I was inside the prison where inmates were not escorted or locked in their cells.

Management does not call nor email you at all

Never interviewed, just got hired on paper

I feel most happy at work when there is positivity. When i feel valued and heard as an employeee. When i feel like i mean something to the company and my hard work is recognized. When staff works together as a team.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Hire fair managers and human resources that listen to both sides and review the facts.

Management needs to listen, nurses need to be appropriately staffed and we need more than one provider.

More help with direct pt care

Need more support staff. Critical and acute inmates deserve the same rights as any other population. Medical staff is not administratively supported.

The sustem is broken. Incompetamce at tge top, non clinicsl people making clinical decisions
