What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need replacing. Moving the leadership to Brazilian leaders was a terrible move.

Focusing on the goal of the company and avoiding bias opinions and taking accountability for their actions.

Treating employees like humans, and be friendly

Empathy! Treat workers with dignity and talk TO people, not AT them.

Investing in the people that may not have the degree, but knows your company.

Hiring more than whit race

Understanding what the employees need to be successful.

Treat people equally not make exceptions for only white employees

Listening and caring about the employees. I see more people quitting than getting hired. I worked at companies that did a whole lot more than what Whirlpool does for it's employees.

Listening to their employees instead of assuming they know best

Focusing on employees and culture to achieve results. Current focus is inverted. Longer term focus on business, results, sustainability, capital. Currently hyper-focused on quarterly results; has not changed in last 5+ years. Remember this is a company not a consulting firm; different goals.

They really need to get better at communicating issues and quality alerts or changes in a process. Half the time we are passing things that we dont know are bad, or they didnt bother to tell us that they made a change to our work process making our jobs 10x harder than need be.
