Judy Poferl — Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Xcel Energy

Ms. Judy M. Poferl has been a senior vice president and Corporate Secretary of Xcel Energy Inc. since January 2015 and May 2013 respectively. Ms. Poferl served as Vice President of Xcel Energy Inc. since May 2013. Ms. Poferl served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of NSP-Minnesota at Xcel Energy Inc. since August 2009. Ms. Poferl served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Northern States Power company since August 2009. She has more than 23 years of experience in energy and regulation. She joined NSP in 1998 and subsequently assumed increasing responsibilities in the regulatory area. Before assuming her position as Regional Vice President of NSP-Minnesota in September 2008, Ms. Poferl directed the Minnesota regulatory and legislative group. Prior to joining NSP, she held leadership positions in the Minnesota Department of Public Service (now Office of Energy Security) and Minnegasco (now CenterPoint Energy -- Minnegasco), managing state and federal regulatory activities. She has been Director of NSP-Minnesota at Xcel Energy Inc. since August 2009. She serves as a Director of Northern States Power Company. She serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Poferl holds a Bachelor's Degree in Government from the College of St. Benedict and a Master's Degree in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota's Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
