This has been an absolute dream job! I couldn't pick a better team of people or space to be in. I love what I do and am allowed to get involved in areas that I previously had no experience in. This job has helped me grow on so many levels, and has provided me opportunities I couldn't have imagined!

The culture is what makes Ytel what it is. Management truly cares about their employees. When you deliver, it is recognized and rewarded. I am very proud to be a member of this amazing team of achievers and I'm excited to come to work everyday.

I had a day where I needed to take care of my kids somewhat unexpectedly and everyone was perfectly fine and accommodating with them being in the office (in fact there is a room set aside for visiting kids) and being able to continue working rather than having to take time off.

I've been working at Ytel since December of 2018 and its by far been the best company that I've worked for in the last 15 years since I've been in the industry.

They not only care about the success of the company, they care about the team and it shows. They take the typical org structure and flip it upside down, where the leadership team is actually supporting the rest of the team. They are great humans!

They really care about their employees and look to them for advice on how they can improve the company.

Executive team tries to treat everyone as family and does what they can to take care of the employees.

They're very passionate about the company and want nothing more than success for everyone, customers and employees alike.

The leadership team at Ytel is phenomenal! They understand what it takes to get things done and how to stay relevant in an ever evolving market. They also know how to build a work culture that motivates employees and drives success and pride to be a part of the Ytel family.

The company is maturing and doing better with performance reviews and raises

Aside from the competitive compensation, and great benefits packages. The employee culture and daily catered lunches are a fantastic perk.

There is a pretty decent healthcare plan

I could write a novel on the best things about this team, but if I have to boil it down... They are genuinely kind, innovative, inclusive and passionate people. There is always someone there to help when you need it, and a true sense of team. This has honestly become a second family for me!

We are always there to help out one another. No one ever says it's not part of my job.

Everyone works together to solve the current set of problems both internally and for our customers. Very little in the way of politics between people or teams.

The teams collaborate well and are open to trying new ways of working to improve throughput

Everyone is willing to help out and share knowledge which is a great environment to learn and grow.

We have one of the coolest offices in OC hands down, we have lunch catered every day, an arcade, a flight simulator, bike shop, insane tech, fully stocked kitchen. We do team events like Angels/Ducks games, Ytel Carnival, Beach Day, Kickball... but at the end of the day, the best part is the people!

Ytel really does feel like a family

There's a high degree of trust and autonomy, and people are able to make mistakes without fear of repercussions

The sense of inclusion and transparency makes it really feel like a family where everybody is important.

We all support each other well and everyone gets along well.

We keep it very relaxed and conversational. At the end of the day, we are trying to get a glimpse of what the future collaboration with the team will look like. There is also a huge emphasis on the culture piece and getting to know the person beyond the text of their resume!

I had a group interview with members of the management/ leadership team. It wasn't scripted and felt like an open conversation about what value I can bring to the company. They were engaging and ask great questions

For technical roles it's a mix of different interview types to gauge a mix of technical skills and how well people will fit into the department.

It was very welcoming, and the company was very honest and open about the company's challenges rather than trying to mislead or sugarcoat

Interview was informal and included lunch with manager and a chance to meet some other employees at Ytel.

The fact that I actually have a chance to impact the success of the company and the team. On top of that, I get to work on some mind-blowing technology alongside people whom I consider to be great friends. Growing with this company and team has been an absolute pleasure!

Being able to help anyone and everyone that comes to me. I also love being employees sounding board to bring ideas to the leadership team.
