    All depends on department / Studio and who your manager is. When joining at entry level and working hard it is not difficult to get the first few promotions. Once you have reached a certain level it becomes much more difficult which is to be expected as there are fewer positions in the higher levels so the intervals in which you will receive a promotion are much longer.
