I make a great hourly wage and also can receive tips.
For the most part, it’s exciting to go to work. I look forward to working with my friends.
My workgroup manager deeply cares for her employees. She notices when I’m having a bad day. She genuinely cares about our well-being at and not at work.
They asked great questions that pertained to the type of work you would be doing. Also I like the question and answer segment that everyone must do while filling out the app online. People who really want to job will go through it. Lazy people won’t.
I like that they hire within the company. Many managers started as servers so they have a deeper understanding about the position. They can relate to you personally, because they use to have your job. They know when a server is capable of doing his/her job or not.
What makes me most happy at work is when I’m shown appreciation for my hard work. There’s no greater feeling than being “weeded” all shift, but knowing that you have absolutely killed it and having your manager or gm tell you that you did well or how lost they would be without you.
