Ppl that work hard all the time and doesnt spend time on their phones, gets the short end of the stick. Corporate says the frown on employees that just stand around getting paid for nothing,also they get all the hrs and the ones that work hard lose hrs. Does that seem very fair?

I'm beginning I was so proud and excited to move up in the Circle k world but 10 years in under same Dm I quickly released that not all Dms or Higher ups have same goals or want to see excellment of their teams to wnsure they dont have to cover any stores

Absolutely no care for their employees. Our store is completely neglected and yet constantly nitpicked. Everyone is exhausted and wants to quit, but can't. Horrible company, I wouldn't wish this job on my worst enemy.

Most definately. Management ppl, should be pulling their weight by going in the cooler to fill empty slots, if they dont set a good ex then CSR wont do it. Or ppl just use the excuse its too cold to work in the cooler. Thats just being lazy!!!

Hire managers or extensively train them properly. Managers that can't even look you in the eye or manage with the passive aggressive technique as their only style is horrible.

I earned quarter raise 3 times to be at 14.75 then pay increased due to minimum wage going up to 16 so it made me lose those step raises and dont feel that's fair

It is in comparison to my previous job. Compensation is only one aspect of my job and I know this sound conflicting but I feel underpaid but not undervalued.

We put our lives on the line every night for minimum wage. The only people more likely to get shot on the job than convenience store workers are police officers, but at least they get body armor and are allowed to defend themselves.

Do the work,stay of your phones, and spend less time smoking outside. The 1st 2 hrs of any shift is the most important cuz if you fall behind, then your gonna be struggling to get your work done on your shift
