I joined the company as a trainer. I love the work, and I love my team. It has been the most collaborative experience I have ever had, with my ideas taken seriously and either acted on, or at least considered, influencing final plans. I feel appreciated and cared about by my team and management.

The work is engaging and meaningful. My immediate team is supportive and caring. We have been chronically understaffed, overworked, and underpaid. Upper management has been slow to respond to our concerns.

Insurance is a reasonable rate, with lots of options to help supplement it.

It's incredibly inclusive. We have a very diverse staff, which isn't typical where I live. We don't all agree about everything, but we can all be respectful and kind.

They're always willing to listen, and never treat someone dismissively, even if they don't act on the information given. They truly care about, and want what is best for all of the employees.

By both position and natural inclination, I'm a trainer. Watching as people grasp complex concepts and systems is what keeps me going. I love that lightbulb moment, and knowing that I helped them achieve it.

I enjoy my job. I'm so supported in the work that I do. The friendly atmosphere, just adds to that. It makes me not just like the work, but like being at work.

We're offered a very competitive time-off with compensation. Between paid holidays, vacation time, floating holidays, and sick leave, I've never had to worry about whether I had the time to take care of myself or my family.

We work together and have great communication. We always figure out how to make things work, even though we're pretty seriously short-staffed. We fill in each others gaps in knowledge and in skill sets. It makes us very effective at our job.

I love my job, I do, but right now my entire department is so overwhelmed that it can be very tense. Also, many of my co-workers feel underappreciated. This would be improved by adding more staff in the department, increasing morale building activities, and frankly a pay raise.
Revisión
My team works great individually, but we're all there to bounce ideas off of each other, or support each other in any way. We're very balanced, with all of us having our own specialized sets of knowledge, and we all respect the knowledge of the others on the team.

My local leadership is very supportive, both of each other and of employees. My manager in particular does everything possible to help us meet our goals. The manager over our site, has been very open and welcoming of feedback, and while change is slow to happen, I believe he truly listens.

The number of new trainees that I've had tell me that nobody has ever told them that their own health, and their family should come first, is truly astonishing to me, but our company culture has very much been that we need you happy and healthy to be most effective at your job.
Revisión
My position is salaried. We are understaffed which means that the department is very overworked right now. I typically put in 50+ hours a week, my hourly actually ends up being lower than an entry level position many weeks. With overtime, I often make less in a month than an entry-level new hire.
Revisión
Just the supportive nature of everyone. We take care of each other. Even among those that I don't know well, they will often ask if I need a ride home, when mine is running late. And supervisors I haven't worked directly with in years, ask about my parents' health and how my kids are doing.
Revisión
The leadership team views every employee as a person first. We all have lives outside of work, and those lives are important. Family first, is true here. I never have to worry about my job if my kids or my disabled parents are sick or hurt. They also take an interest in our lives.

My team is awesome. Our manager calls us the dream team, and with good reason. We are all specialists who continually strive not only to get better at what we do, but learn about what the others do, so that we can cover for each other. For any question I have, There's a team member to ask.
