I love my teammates and mangers I communicate with on a daily/monthly basis. however, there is no room for advancement or learning opportunities. the company always opts to hire external people prior to giving internal employees a chance to progress in their careers.

Motivation drops when there are rumors (and confirmation) of layoffs, sale of the company, and overall pessimism to start the new year. Owners/Exec. decided to borrow tons of money when the rates are increasing, leading to millions in monthly interest payments.
