I work at the Westlake California location at the Barkley. Ive had nothing but great interactions with the vet. However, the Barkley employees are very catty and make up their own rules as they go. The managers/ leads sit in the office all day. The grooming department is lazy and is a overall toxic

I love my profession and thats why i continue to stay at this company. The pet parents and dogs are the only thing that makes me happy about the company.

It seems like is a very highschool mean girls enviroment. People will also openly talk about how they are getting in trouble or talked down to for something that was beyond their own control. The management condones this and likes to gossip and spred fake information.

¿Qué debe cambiar para mejorar la cultura de la empresa?
I would like to see a faster paced working enviroment. The salon manager does almost nothing but a few dogs a day and then sits and talks in the office for the rest. She also puts all the deep cleaning/ cleaning duties on everyone else and never lifts a finger to help. She is rude to most employees
