In short – as quickly and confidentially as possible! Our goal and processes ensure that employees feel heard and safe in coming forward to share a concern or worry, and that follow up creates appropriate and meaningful change.

  • Meilleure réponse des employés

They look out for the best interest of the company, and that's it. Don't look to find resolve or support with serious issues. So long as they aren't faced with a lawsuit, they'll push off any concerns you have as much as possible.

  • They'll help you out if it's a serious discrimination issue or concern. Complaints about other employees become he said-she said and don't require strong documentation or evidence.

  • They are constrained by Omnicom and don't make many decisions that aren't approved by someone higher. They also like to point fingers when there are issues rather than finding out the source of the issue. It's a popularity contest and the only people winning are on the Executive Leadership Team, and HR doesn't seem to care. They're all friends and they will get rid of anyone who doesn't agree with everything they say. "Tell it like it is" is a made up value they act like they promote, that no one actually wants to hear unless it's positive.

  • Yes, I've done it before. One thing that is usually promoted is moving to another team that you would be happier on, however, it is not a quick process. There is always some overlap in what you're doing, so you feel as if you're being pulled in 2 different directions. They can never seem to hire someone quick enough to take over your old role, so you will stagnate across 2 teams until they can figure it out.

  • Yes... if there's space and you're willing to wait. You can ask your manager and someone on the new team. Our resourcing is all built on backfilling & you'll straddle two teams for a while before the transition is complete.

Unfortunately, not innovative at all. Innovation to C Space leadership means adopting anything new that they've never done before but in the grand scheme of things, and to their competitors, they lack awareness, knowledge, and talent to do anything innovative. The notion of "innovation" at this company is truly a joke.

  • As much as we promote our clients being innovative, we are not innovative as a company, and usually give the excuse that the client isn't innovative so we can't do anything about it. As much as people have pushed for more innovation, it's usually around a new strategy every year or so rather than true innovation.

It's not what it should be. There are often unreasonable client requests and times where you are expected to work late hours. That said, the company is fairly flexible with time and remote work. Managers work with their employees to find solutions for each employee.

  • Not great. Each client team you work on is working in isolation. It can be hard to flex time to accommodate a late night on one team's project because the other team needs you in the morning. We promise the world to our clients which can include 24 hour turnarounds for projects, unreasonably short timelines, and more. This means late hours. Since everyone's equally drowning, it's hard to find help or solutions. People are glued to their phone and email which means team requests and messages 24/7.

Meet as many people as you can. Do coffee meet and greets, put 15 minutes on people's calendar. You need people to know your name to get anywhere.

C Space hires "yes" people. People who say yes as their plates get more and more full even if they can't handle it. If you're not an extrovert, you're going to have a hard time here because you have to advocate for yourself to get anywhere. C Space values soft and social skills above technical skills.

  • You're going to gain amazing levels of experience from the start which is great. Then you'll be expected to continuously level up and outdo yourself without consistent promotion cycles or rationale, and you won't be paid for it. It doesn't matter if you've done thought leadership, are a manager, or lead workstreams as a consultant or even below. You'll be making just enough money to get by in the three most expensive cities in the country.

There is a pervasive culture of "kool aid drinking" that can make it difficult to be constructive/critical at times. Transparency has decreased in the past year, and it would bolster morale to see the value of honesty and candor revived. Lastly, the culture of flexibility has morphed into a feeling of change for change's sake. Coupled with resourcing issues, this has had a negative impact on the culture of late. Addressing these concerns would yield significant improvements to the overall culture!
