The whole package is good and I like that there is a base salary and a quarterly MBO - it's nice to be recognized for extra effort and results.

We have a generous time off policy that is flexible based on needs plus, we are almost 100% remote (some positions require people to go to the office occasionally).

We value our people and relationships with each other. We live our values of "Be Considerate", "Be Trustworthy" and "Be Fun" and have fierce conversations when someone doesn't adhere to the values.

My team (the ones that report to me) are excellent individual contributors, but also work very well as a team. If someone needs help, there is always someone willing to lend a hand. T
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team members are some of the smartest, most thoughtful, considerate, hard-working, and fun people I've ever worked with. They exemplify the meaning of team and support each other as I've never seen before.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with my team, helping our clients achieve success with our products, and seeing everyone's hard work pay off. Our daily standup is one of my favorite meetings - there is a lot of laughing!
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love the way everyone on my team is willing to jump in and help on anything they are asked. I've never worked with a team that has each other's backs the way we do at ClearGov.
What makes you most happy at work?
We have a great mission and I love to help our clients succeed with our products. We get a lot of positive feedback and appreciation from clients and it makes everyone feel good about what they do.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The package is great, but I love the "unlimited vacation" because it allows me to make time for things I need to do outside of work. I don't feel that anyone abuses it, but it is so nice to have.
What makes you most happy at work?
Hearing from clients about how we've helped them produce great financial documents. Going from mountains of paper and spreadsheets to an interactive, online budget has help our clients save time, be more transparent to their communities, and win prestigious awards. I also love my team!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our Leadership team REALLY values employees. This past December, our two founders drove to every local employees house delivering holiday gifts. For several employees, this was the first time they met the founders due to the pandemic. Many companies say they care, but ClearGov shows they care!

Transparency, clear communication on what they are working on, proactively communicate any changes in strategy with reasons why we are shifting. I also love that they all make themselves available to everyone in the organization at any time. They lead by example and have created an amazing culture
What are some of the best things about your team?
As a leader, I am so grateful for my team and their willingness to help each other out. I'm fairly new, and my team has been instrumental in helping me get up to speed on our products, our clients, and the company in general. They are hardworking and a lot of fun!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is no feeling of hierarchy - everyone has a voice and is encouraged to share ideas and ways to be better. We work really hard but have the autonomy to do what we're supposed to do without anyone micromanaging us. We hire trustworthy professionals who know how to get it done!

We have a culture committee that plans a lot of fun events for the team. It's a way to bring everyone together to have some laughs and get to know each other. Culture is extremely important to ClearGov and we don't just say we have a great culture; we live it every day.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is hard-working, collaborative, supportive of each other, and a lot of fun. We truly operate as a team and I have never once felt like a problem or issue was mine alone to solve. As a leader, I love to see my team helping each other out and covering for each other when life happens.
