Microsoft is getting cheaper and cheaper in how they treat their employees. They keep cutting budgets, all in the name of AI. While we record record-breaking profits year over year. Morale in my team is at an all-time low.

The benefits are the best part of the compensation package. Microsoft has been increasingly reducing the budget for bonuses/stock payouts. And merit increases are barely even matching inflation rates. Compensation overall does not reflect performance.

My direct manager fights for me. The leadership above him, is terrible at fighting for us. They continually make decisions that is a direct contradiction to what the team needs & how we can best serve our stakeholders.
