Initially incredibly optimistic and enthusiastic about working at Nike. 3 years in, after a pointless layoff and internal culture scandal, many questions remain about the quality of leadership and ability to move forward. Skeptical about the ability to reset a culture that will put employees first.

Amazing and challenging projects that will grow and stretch your skill set. Amazing talent to work alongside with and occasional great leaders. The obvious connection to sport is also very positive.

Quality and talent of teammates on immediate team is incredible. What we are able to accomplish together is awe inspiring. However, the quality of team members varies dramatically from team to team.

More transparency about the connection between performance reviews, promotion and compensation. Many director-level individuals are over compensated for roles and responsibilities that are deftly handled by entry level teammates. Compensation appears to be tied to who you are friends with.
