Nike Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

People are positive and celebrate wins. Wins are defined too loosely

Acceptance is paramount at our store.

We are always looking to improve

my immediate team works fast and gets some fun projects done.

A lot of nice people. Sometimes it does not feel genuine.

There's always a positive, can do, attitude and powerful storytelling that gets you motivated to go after what seems like a daunting goal

The people find a way to pull together despite everything the company does.

The Nike vibe, athletes, cool products.

Diversity, inclusion and equality, belonging

Everyone works well together and encourages you to grow

Everyone is nice to each other

Everyone is really warm and friendly

Encouraged to be active, even during work.

The managers allow for input from their employees and will even give employees the opportunity to use their creativity on smaller projects.

Working culture, flexible working environment

Review from Engineering Dept

we can have work life balance and can work and have time to do things outside of work

There are a lot of leaders who are beginning to place an emphasis on people/mental health and wellbeing over all else

Nobody is yelling or demanding. The work gets done and the people are chill.

•strong amount of equaliry

This is my fream Job and where i want to be

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Leadership. Direction commitment. More managing down than managing up.

Training better Training training better

Single-minded focus on short not long term results. Solving the same problems over and over again, just calling them something different. Managers climbing the ladder at the expense of the teams they lead.

Review from Operations Dept

No place for constructive debate

BETTER MANAGEMENT, the people thats in charge have destroyed this conpany as a whole and I would love to see change or at least proper training or something PLEASE

Review from Product Dept

It’s a boys club, women are not treated equally

Review from Engineering Dept

A lot of employees feel entitled and that they are superior, even outside of Nike. Nike is nice enough to let visitors in, etc. and some employees don't think that should be allowed, etc. They need to think of the surrounding communities, etc.

Review from IT Dept

I don't think I have figured out that yet

Review from Sales Dept

Commit to innovation and invest to lead not merely compete, cultivate and elevate talent within rather than brining in outside talent for leadership positions.

Review from Engineering Dept

Senior leaders from ops manager and directors need to be connected to teams realistic

Review from Operations Dept

More focus on the common goal rather than micro-managing hours, days off, etc.

male culture. if you are a male athlete, you get promotions. chubby women do not get fair pay.

Review from Finance Dept

They need to hold some celebrations sometimes.

Review from Product Dept

More welcoming to the customers and guests

Review from Marketing Dept

The company culture is perfect how it is

Review from Engineering Dept

move off of the old boy network; end the hubris; step outside the bubble of Nike and understand the outside world

Review from Business Development Dept

Coworkers need to be listened to and appreciated

Review from Engineering Dept

Smarter scheduling systems, overnight stock out

timeling flexibility and respecting the people aroun you

Review from Admin Dept

Positive minds focused on the good work we can do instead of negative things
