The Leader needs to set better direction & strategy to their direct reports rather than focusing on managing up and forgetting about the working model underneath them.
Company invests heavily in untested tech, image, ... but not in people. Regularly understaffed, high turnover, poorly planned projects with unclear deliverables.

The ESPP is pretty great with getting shares at 15% below market value. The retirement match of 5% is pretty top notch as well.

Pay should be higher or raises should be more frequent and higher.

I guess for the portland area we do well but when you have a whole tech ops org who cannot work remotely when you can get a remote job that pays more with better benefits. It's hard to make a comparison.

Teams in general get along, always try to help, and stay positive despite everything going on. There's always someone willing to grab lunch with you or just talk about non-work stuff for a second. Everyone is reliable and kind.
