Short staffed by A LOT with no movement to hire a general manager or extra bodies to help. We're doing the work of at least two people each. But we are deemed "overstaffed" by higher ups.

We need support. We need more people so we can have three people per shift instead of two, sometimes one (if someone calls out, it's even more work).

My compensation is good for ONE person. However, because I am expected to be in three places at once, it isn't enough to keep up with the damage my body and mind are taking.

Our customers see that we are short staffed. They see that one cashier is getting fish for a group of people while they wait to be checked out. We can't keep great customer service if we can't provide it.
