Sold company. Great benefits, pay is average, work expectations and load is high (even though the company is trying to hire more headcount, retention is an issue as the workload is high), management encourages taking PTO though many in the company don't acknowledge it, many don't respect afterhours
Working for Samsung is an over all good experience. The work life balance is the biggest issue as there are no boundaries. Even though we can put them in place it's difficult if you want to hit your metrics. Typically I'm maxed out on PTO and have lost weeks trying to help the company hit goals.
Working for Samsung is an experience. You will never feel like you're sandbagging at Samsung. Those people don't last as there is always something to get done or fix or audit or work on. Samsung never shuts down and expects the same from its employees.

Current market and knowing what others in my field make. Benefits and the people help offset this to a point, but it would be nice to have a more simplified bones (MBO) and higher targets. Maybe just an increase due to inflation.
