It depends on the supervisor. Currently I have a very bad one.

Empathy, emotional intelligence and being trustworthy.

Coworkers are fine. 2nd line leadership and above is the problem.

Nothing special to report. Just generic questions amd no true connection.

The leadership, starting with the CEO. We need new executive leadership.

Leadership at the top. He drives much of the negativity and it is copied by those below him.

Normal industry development, though often times getting the recommended designations do not lead to advancement even though the company gives the appearance it will.

A focus on developing and encouraging true leadership from leaders over just getting a result or being made to fire people for questionable reasons.

Understanding and transparency. Eliminate using threats to get results rather than coaching and building relationships. The morale is low across the company.

The CEO. Since taking over he has overseen changes that has led to layoffs, slowed rate of pay increases, and a culture of intimidation rather than positive reinforcement.

They need to be leaders of people and not managers of task. There is no true commitment to their people, only "yes" men afraid of being true leaders.

Our company is making record profits, but its not being seen in employee compensation. It would be fair if profits we shared appropriately with the people that do the real work.

Our healthcare package is good, but only because of the prior culture. I imagine if this new CEO and leadership group could cut benefits to increase profits they would. There is no trust.

Our leaders do not give ratings and raises fairly. Often times predetermined by leaders without consideration of performance. There is alot of favoritism as well. Our bonus structure has been changed without clarity and the amount continues to be reduced even as the company continues to profits
