At my location, the GM is open to listening to what we have to say and regularly holds town hall meetings to hear from us.
It's our job to make people happy. When it's going well, we smile and laugh all day. Even when it's not, people are there to cheer you up. You don't get that everywhere. THAT is the magic of this place.
Feeling like I'm knowledgeable about what I do and being confident that I can solve any problem. There's beauty in the day to day, and I enjoy the challenge of solving a difficult situation and having the guest walking away happy.
The frontline Cast Members are our business. They care about the guests more than the company cares about them. They are the reason guests come back and spend so much money here. My team is my family, which has been the case at every location I've worked.
The company expects a lot of us, long hours with little control of our schedules. We have to be knowledgeable and happy to take care of our guests...which most of us are glad to do. But we shouldn't have to work a ton of overtime to get by. Full-time positions are harder to get. The guests notice.
