My manager is excellent, and the reason I stay with the company. Communication about changes, especially HR, are last minute and create poor morale. Good benefits but pay is on the low end for our area.

In order to attract new talent, new hires with similar skills are paid the same or more than people with more experience and longevity at the company in the same positions. Our raises do not keep up with the cost of living in this area.
