They work well, as long as they as supervised. When the manager is not nearby, they tend to slow down considerably. Store Manager does not support hiring/discipline/firing recommendations of his senior managers.
Undervalued because changes come to us without explaination and without reasonable expectations for the time that it takes to implement them, I know compensation is tough, due to the state of the company, but consideration should be given to having people work up the ladder.
