Compassionate to say the least
Our general manager likes to keep us informed about what is going on with the store.
Review from Operations Dept
always striving to improve the company and workplace
They knowledge and help is important to me so i can be a better employee
Need more communication between each other
There was a team meeting. The manager stated you have to make her. I don't believe anybody should make anybody do anything. But to state you have to make a person do something I think that's wrong.

Being realistic when it comes to expectations of someone's job when you pay them the same as a McDonald's employee or less
Taking care of their people.
Managing and leading employees successfully

401K contributions have a company match
Review from Operations Dept
401K match is great, and the ability to invest my earnings.
We are not paid fair compared to the job they expect and they have change our compensation in pto without our input even though it was what we agreed upon starting work
Bring back old JCPenney values and benefits.
The company views anyone below management as replaceable.

Salary that matches my expertise and workload
Promotions seem to be reserved only for minority candidates, while disciplinary actions seem to be reserved only for white employees.
They communicate with eachother and push to do what is required of them even on a very busy day.
Teamwork make the dream work
They work hard and uplift each other
The management team lacks professionalism .
Curious, ambitious, ready to work together to get things done
My coworkers need to focus on doing their jobs, not standing around and gossiping.
Being fair and resoecting older stylist who are way more seasoned You kearn from Wisdom and mistakes .
A few of them are way too bossy and try to run things there way. More respect would towards each other.
Review from Sales Dept
What coworkers? The staff has been cut down to the point that you can go hours without seeing another employee
Doing their job properly all the time
Review from Sales Dept
Coming in to the cashiers and giving them a pep talk about their accomplishments and goals for the day. I love to make their work environment enjoyable even though it can be challenging.
Charitable somewhat but morale is down
Nothing, sadly. Everything is run down and broken there
I could work without being watched or micro managed
Review from Operations Dept
When I can actually work on my work and not just do other people's. When I get to actually help a customer.
Management needs to step up and stop employees from strong-arming other employees. Employees that's been there a long time like to push their work off on the newcomers. Also on off time management will call you constantly and other employees. Will call you on what to do and what's going on at work.

Focus on positivity, acknowledge hard work and reward it.
Less hostility in the work place.
Fairness. At each meeting, we are told that if we don't make our Icap goal we can look for cut hrs or layoffs. so depressing when we see how the economy is still slow and other stores are in the same pickle. It's a downer to hear nothing positive to start your day and no add'l help when needed.
Review from Sales Dept
Really bad middle management in place
It was a while back but it wasn't nerve racking as I thought. Gina was very nice and asked direct questions.
It was more personal than a typical interview but over 18 years ago
It was nice and simple
Review from Operations Dept
He asked a couple of questions and I was hired.
It was a good interview done by department manager that ended up leaving the company.
They literally played board games to see if I was smart enough to work tgere
The entire process needs to be evaluated
Review from Product Dept
The reason for that is that I have submitted applications for several job opportunities but there is no response
Time and length of interviews

The stores need a remodeling desperately.
Better pay. Stop giving people with kids a hard time and making them choose between taking care of their family or losing thier job.
Management is out of touch
Review from Product Dept
Improve pay and work ethic, lead with pride and respect not authority and power
Review from Customer Support Dept
The company is so very outdated and needs to update just about everything. Very old building just terrible. They would have to renovate.
