At a store level, most managers take the time to know you as a person, and make reasonable adjustments to help fit your valid needs. Most of them are actively interested in continual betterment of methods, habits, and self.

Lately, going home. Usually, when I get to put out great-looking (and tasting) plates on time that make the servers go OOOH, and also when I get to clean out-of-the-way stuff super shiny again. When stuff runs like it’s supposed to with no hiccup

The wages are not competitive with the industry, and the kitchen is never tipped out. The threshold to achieve benefits is unattainably high for most people, when even "full timers" struggle to hit a 30 hour week with scheduling policies. Lower benefits threshold and fair tip sharing would help.
