How would you compare interviewing at Tailored Brands to other places you've interviewed?
I think I liked it more, being in front of a panel, than my previous one-on-one interviews. Granted, my interview at Tailored Brands is probably not 'normal'. I think most interviews are with either the manager or with the manager and a key team member to make sure the necessary questions are asked.

The CEO is professional. The improvement is making sure the numbers of sales are not missed.
Doug Ewert seems like a nice enough guy, but he's no George Zimmer.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Tailored Brands?
I would make sure that the stock are filled.
Bring back George Zimmer.
What's the interview process like at Tailored Brands?

Not too bad. HR reviews applications, weeds some out for phone interviews, then some of those are weeded out, so only the top applicants actually make it through to the hiring manager.

I feel good and I am happy
Used to love it. Now, not so much.

Very steady but it can be fast paced.
Everybody want everything done right now and there's just never enough time.
How's the work life balance at Tailored Brands?
Usually I'm at work almost as much as I'm at home.
Good for some, bad for others. It depends on the team you're on. Some teams are constantly short staffed and some require rotating overnight on-call shifts.
Does Tailored Brands have any remote positions?
Yes.
Yes, we have offshore teams in at least 2 different countries.
How does Tailored Brands make decisions around promotions?
They pick who they like.
The people who are liked by senior management are the ones who get promoted, whether they are actually qualified or not.
How's the vacation policy at Tailored Brands?
There's a cap on how much time you can accrue. Once you hit it, you stop accruing vacation, so use it or lose it, literally. If you leave, you lose your accrued vacation that you haven't taken. You won't get paid for it.
Vacation is accrued every pay period and does rollover to the next year. The only downside is that you lose your banked vacation if you leave the company so there's no reason to let your vacation pile up, in case leaving the company isn't your idea.

Six different managers, each representing a different team, and I received a job off within 2 days.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Tailored Brands?
For me, it's always the "where do you see yourself" questions. Life has taught me, repeatedly, that even the best made plans can go out the window in a heartbeat.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Tailored Brands?
I interviewed in front of 6 different managers at the same time. I thought it was great. They asked their questions and they liked my answers, apparently, because I was offered a position a day or two later.
