How helpful was your IT team when you were first hired at Tailored Brands?
They helped me get everything setup, but it wasn't without some difficulties.
What's the internship program like at Tailored Brands?
We don't have one that I know of.
How does Tailored Brands handle HR issues?
It depends. In my experience, one issue was handled rather quickly while another issue isn't being handled well at all. A person who caused a completely avoidable health issue was given several opportunities to change and was let go after he continued on with his previous behavior. Someone else who should have been fired ages ago for theft and harassment is still there because his manager thinks it's trivial so continues to protect him and LIE for him.
How does Tailored Brands measure success and growth in the IT department?
Unless you come up with something that saves the company a small fortune or solve a major issue, you're not going to get any sort of recognition or thanks. Major results are the only thing that matters.
Why work for Tailored Brands?
Used to, when George Zimmer was still in charge, The Men's Wearhouse was a GREAT company to work for. Now the Corporate America Trolls are running things and frankly it's just like working in any other cube farm.
What's the work from home policy like at Tailored Brands?
It depends on your job type (salary or hourly) and the team you're on/your manager. My team and some other people I work with are able to work from home if you have a minor emergency at home (like a repairman coming or a sick child) or if there is a weather emergency like flooding.
How helpful was your Sales team when you were first hired at Tailored Brands?
very helpful
How do I do well in an interview at Tailored Brands?
I explained to them on my experience.
What part of Tailored Brands's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Buying Joseph A Bank damn near sank the whole company. We're still in recovery mode.

Not at all.
How challenged are you at Tailored Brands?
Moderately to very.
What are the team outings like at Tailored Brands?
Team outings? Only SOME teams get to do those.
How much and how often do raises happen at Tailored Brands?
Once a year, if you get anything. Everybody gets their evals at the exact same time, then everybody gets their increase at the same time, if they get anything. Some years, we all get the same thing. Some years, it's merit based.
How's the feedback proccess at Tailored Brands?
They may, or may not, pay attention. Usually not.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Tailored Brands?
That they were going to mutiny and force George Zimmer out of his own company.
How much diversity is there among employees at Tailored Brands?
Quite a bit. We have people from all walks of life.
What's the office layout like at Tailored Brands?
Cubicle farm.
What unique perks and benefits does Tailored Brands provide?
There's a small bonus in December, depending on sales goals being met.
What's the pay like for IT roles at Tailored Brands?
Below par compared to other companies.
What's the IT team like at Tailored Brands?
Long hours, crappy pay, poor planning, too much work, and not enough resources.
How's the leadership on the IT team at Tailored Brands?
It's very 'corporate America' now. They want it all done yesterday, as cheaply as possible, and to make themselves look good. No one gives a damn about the worker bees, we're all completely expendable. The entire vibe of the company has changed dramatically since they forced George Zimmer out. He was an incredible leader and the company was a MUCH better place to work when he was in charge.
