I feel it is an average work experience, with some people or teams making it better. As for pay, I feel the company does not cosider the value of an employee when a promotion may be occuring.

The environment is friendly. Some departments are more distant then others, but no issues.

Most of my team, and my previous team, are all willing to help, answer questions, as well as jump in when needed in different areas.

I actually do not enjoy the other member on my team, I do enjoy other people in the office, and old team members I used to work with.

Certain teams participate in pot lucks, or themed lunches, this is fun to particpate in and gives everyone a chance to pull away and connect on a more personal level

My direct manager is phenomenal. Our goals and expectations are clearly laid out. They are firm, yet respectful in any recoaching that is necessary. They are open with communication as to any company updates or changes.

I believe pay is the reason for feeling undervalued. With 3 promotions over my time, it feels as though the company penny pinches. The 3% raise, even though it is a union thing, is not fair to all. Employees who do half the work as their co workers get the same raise.

Though I have moved up through the company and proven in each of my previous roles that I am effecient, reliable, and also able to assist in figuring out quicker more effecient ways to perform works tasks, I am always only offered the bottom, or near bottom, pay rate for a new role.

The direct in office Management Team for National Pension Fund and VAP are awesome, Joe Minard include. As far as people above them direct changes are made often that affect the NPF and VAP team and it seems the changes are made without any real knowledge of the job or the people the changes effect
