
I have been here at Calix for just shy of 6 months and I am loving it! We work in a fast pace environment, but I am allowed those boundaries that will not let me feel burnt out and overworked. Our teams are understanding of different time zones and how busy each day can get for everyone.
I have been here a little over a year and I can see myself continuing to grow with Calix for a while. I have the support I need to do my role successfully, I have built the relationships with my partners and co-workers, and I have the encouragement to continue to grow professionally.
I have truly loved working here. While we still deal with typical corporate America type issues, it is a great place to work. They could do a little better with creating better opportunities for growth and better raises to match the market or show they value their employees.

We have a "work from anywhere" culture. Although majority of the company is remote, we still have a very collaborative and cohesive environment. The Executive Leadership and Managers do a great job motivating and showing their appreciation for your hard work.
Being able to work from home and take small breaks throughout the day. Having the remote culture allows us to step away from the computer for a little bit to recharge. I also truly enjoy the people I work with and the work I am doing.
Since each of us are in a different time zone, the team and company really do try to value your time and doesn't try to schedule meetings outside of your time zone. It will happen here and there, but for the most part, the team does a great job working around your time zone working hours.
